Ce rythme ne présente pas de caractère pathologique.<br /> <br /> == Physiopathologie ==<br /> Le pacemaker cardiaque dominant physiologique est situé au sein du nœud sinusal, proche de l’abouchement de la veine cave supérieure dans l’oreillette droite (&#039;&#039;[[Anatomie de la conduction intracardiaque]])&#039;&#039;.<br /> <br /> Il existe également des cellules dotées d’automatisme à proximité de l’abouchement du sinus coronaire à l’oreillette droite, pouvant constituer la source d’extrasystoles atriales ou servir de rythme d’échappement en cas de ralentissement du pacemaker dominant.
